1. Take out your signed pledges.
2. First visit this website: http://pbskids.org/webonauts/ and complete the Webonauts Training.
3. Then visit: http://pbskids.org/old_license/ and take the virtual digital citizenship license test. When you are finished print out your digital license!

Finish Summer Essay and Take the Survey

Today in computer class you will finish your summer essay in Google Docs. 

Then click HERE to take the survey.

When you finish, you can click HERE to play the Geography word game.

In Class Work Day 2

Today you are going to continue to work on your summer essay assignment.

• I would first like for you to open Microsoft Word.  This is where you will type your essay.
• The essay will have two paragraphs and you will be writing about TWO experiences.  Each paragraph will be about one experience.  For example: one paragraph could be about a vacation and the other could be about time you spent with your family.  
• Make sure that your essay is organized and well thought out.  
• You should describe both what you did and how you felt about it.
• Save your work as "SummerEssay"

THEN: 

• Sign into your student gmail accounts (from the Bellmore-Merrick Homepage).  
• Click documents and then upload
• Find your "SummerEssay" and click upload 
• Save
